not definately some centers still improve their salary with the same speed, like they did before they reach the cap because a skill is much more worth then before.

They would still see less salary increases than the same player with higher potential, who hasn't hit his limit yet.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Hey, see, i was just thinking like this:
A salery limit of 200.000 would be a little bit like reducing the limit of each skill down to 15 (marvellous).
Only difference: Saved time for bringing them to the limit.
But having a limit of 20 (legendary) allows to create more different players, and with that to use the different tactics better!

Thats why i wouldn´t like to have a salery limit, cause that would lead in the long run to the point, that all the very top teams would maybe have a C with IS, ID, RB and SB 20. And then there would be no specialized teams, less tacticall options etc.

Do you see my point?
And - what´s the big advantage for that you would take these disadvantages?

not really, but i know now what you mean ;) I don't want to create a hard cap for skills, i like to create a hard cap for salary if you reach that level the salary won't increase anymore, but skills still can dependend on player potential.

In US sport this isn't that uncommon, i believe the NBA have something pretty similiar

i think one of the interesting things is that bb used to hvae faster training, and no caps, so there are a few players who are effectively past their cap, and it might take seasons before we truly learn the caps.

at the highest levels, age considerations come into play before all skilsl are effectively maxed out.
