The whole point of the thread is to stop people from tanking.

My point is that there is no way on telling how much, how long, and why a team is tanking. If someone sell's there players at the start of a season to save good money for the first few week's and buy's better players mid season to help win the finals, that's not tanking it's just a different strategy.

So there is no way to work out how to punish tankers when there are so many reasons why people tank 1 game, 5 games or a season.

And that's the last thing I'm saying.

I think the solution is
1. to give some kind of extra income for winning
or/and
2. Have significant drops in attendance for 1st(and 2nd in larger countries) division teams that lose by 20+ points in 10 consecutive games.
or/and
3. Significant drop in attendence if home team plays less than 5 players.
or/and
4. Have significant drop in attendence if team salary is 75% less than avg. league salary.

Check the Suggestions they are important

Tanking teams will not go to heaven, or they will rencarnate in lower evolved creatures. Tey will have their punishment soon or later.

How about newbies in league which try to their best but are not able to win a single game? I think they would be affected by your suggestion.
