One of the players in my Federation was training a big man for a NT. They wanted weekly reports on the progress of the players. One week he sent in a report like this>

12/30/2011 Shot Blocking for C

Future U21guy ↑popped↑ in Shot Blocking from respectable to strong .

He got back a message like this:

WHAT!!! DO NO EVER TRAIN SB AGAIN IT IS THE MOST USELESS SKILL IN THE GAME!!!!

That was from a NT coach!

Average. Depends on what position. I've put something similar on the up&coming forum.

Defensive PF: 8-10
Attacking PF: 5-7
Defensive C: 9-14
Attacking C: 7-8

Wouldn't be able to do guards as I have never trained them.

I do not think I would react wuite like that, but I somewhat agree with that manager. I agree on not training SB, however I realize it is not useless, just not worth it.

Urban Legend. As shown before, IS, ID and Reb raise the weekly salary more.

And why do NT coaches, especially U21 coaches care about salaries?

Maybe that coach wanted to give an advice on how to avoid creating unsustainable salaries?

Players get MORE expensive and QUICKER if you rotatet IS, Reb., ID instead of IS, Reb, ID, SB.

I kind of feel like a lot of U21 managers take advantage of the managers playing trainers, no offense to you U21 managers out there because I don't know how you run things. That being said, at least in the US most of the U21 prospects are being trained by managers in the D.4 or D.5, and I think this is for two reasons. 1) They can focus more on training in the lower divisions and 2) They have less experience, and therefore easier to trick. I feel like these U21 managers don't inform the managers what's going to happen, and once there salary begins to hit 100k+ they are not prepared. It's really a shame too, for managers begin to get very upset about the price they are getting for the player after years and years of economical decline. In my opinion, the U21 managers should tell the managers training players exactly what will happen if they are unaware, so they can go out and make the decisions for themselves. These are just my thoughts...

Well part of the problem was that the player in question had low potential and they wanted to not "waste" it on SB.
