Sadly, I don't think anything would make the NBA playoffs more exciting, or exciting at all.

Showing an NHL playoff game on the jumbotron would work. Although why you'd pay the money to go to an NBA arena to watch hockey when it's meant to be enjoyed at home in HD (or at the game) is beyond me. ;)

One aspect of injuries that I wanted to add is that they allow smaller capital teams to pick up better players on the cheap. I've bought several players injured at great rates and was able to recoup the investment when I moved them out.

I play in a weekly men's league. There are some games where you go in a little banged up and don't necessarily play at the top of your game. Perhaps a compromise would be to have GS affected or another rating, so that a player that is playing injured takes a bit of a hit on his performance but can still suit up. Health rating maybe? Maybe even making some players a "game time decision" whether they play or not. That may make it interesting.

This thread really had everything- good discussion, lame attemtps at sarcasm, the Israeli guy who thinks he is the only one who knows anything about the game, a poll. Nice work.

I am on the fence about injuries being eliminated. On the one hand, I can appreciate the potential wrench they are in an otherwise smooth season. On the other hand, I agree that they suck and that this game is not realism so why shouldn't our disembodied BB boys be able to ball without broken bones or bad boo-boos? (sorry, I've been reading dr seuss)

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

ive been swayed to the idea of removing post-game injuries and keeping them in game. i would post another thread/poll based on this prior one but a good number might be inclined to vote against me based on the beating i took in this poll.
