It worked as intended. Your game ended in a blow out, your coach looks for subs to bench the starters, even with SFDC. Wasn't Babo in the selected players list ? If so, even if he is not in the depth chart, your coach can use him as a sub. I guess that is what happened.
Anyway, you had 11 selected players, your starting 5 would have been benched because of the blow out.

If you want Vucurovic to play the full 48mns, set a starter and a sub/reserve for each other positions, 9 players max, never ever reserve only.

In my last league game (32876389), I set my trainee Luís Azinheira to play as starter, sub and reserve at the PG position with 9 selected players, but the coach put my SF sub Bernard Koch to play 1 min in the fourth quarter as PG. And yeah, I used "Strictly Follow Depth Chart" and "Let them Play". This is really really strange. Now I'll need to play him as sub PG on my cup game and my third trainee will not get full training. :(

You don't have a default one?

The coach will make changes in the last 2 minutes of a game overriding our instructions. It's working as designed we have been told. Thus, you can only guarantee 46 mns with a 'perfect' line-up.
Your player has missed 45 seconds, if I were you, I'd continue the training week as you had planned it. Those 45 seconds won't make a big difference.

Nope but I'm pretty sure that I set my lineup.

But just look at my first game of the week: (32876378). This game was a little bit easier and my trainee Denis Pereira played the full game. I thought Luís Azinheira problem was his 5 fouls with the game decided, but Denis got his fifth foul at the beginning of the third quarter.

I'll think about don't playing Luís in my cup game. He'll probably pop in OD this week, even without full training, but I want to focus the training on Denis and Luís, because I'll sell my third trainee in 2 or 3 seasons.

In the Scrimmage games I have played over the last week, this is certainly not true. In match (35642301) I had set my trainee to be the starter, backup and reserve SG. Two other guys were also set to all these positions on PG and C. Then I had 5 players filling the rotation of the remaining spots, SF and PF. I played SFDC and let them play.
After 36 minutes, my trainee goes out and one of the backups/reserves, who is a much better SG, comes in and plays the remaining 12.

Luckily for this week, my trainee also played 12 mins in another match, but last week I had to revert to Team Stamina training because these minutes keep screwing up.

The only consistent way of getting a player 48 minutes in a scrimmage is by fielding just 5 players.

This is not how it should work so that is why I'm posting here in the bugs forum. If I specifically tell my coach to SFDC, he should only play another player on a position if all of the starter/backup/reserves for that position have all fouled out or all are injured. The coach may then decide which player best fits that position.

The thing is, if you want 3 players to play 48 mins, then you have to cal only 7 players, the 3 that will play 48, and 2 for the remaining positions (starter and backup)... because if you are winning by a huge diference, the coach gives rest to the starter if there is a player that is doing nothing xD

It's a blowout.

I am lighthearted and all but there is 200 posts in this thread claiming your kind of game is a bug and 200 posts explaining why it is not. And that's without mentioning the dozens of threads started every month in different languages for this specific kind of game.

If you lead by a great deal (exemple : the cut is at 20 pts at the beginning of the 4th QT), you starters will be benched no matter what unless you don't have backups obviously. It's working as designed.
