mmh thats rigth in the middle is it really not excellent, even if i don't understand the tactic to screw a game to get in a lower seed because if you win them and the winner of the first game loose you are back in the same pot - and the winner of the first match is in any case better or as good as the looser.

I think there should be more than one BB3. It should be set up like the champion leagues in soccer. The is a europe champions league and a asian one, and an Africans cup and South American cup and North and Central american cup. And just like the Toyota Cup in soccer, where all of these champions come to Tokyo and have a club team championship. Could and would be more interesting than the current BB3. Peace

I agree, something similar to former Soccer Intertoto cup would be great. I guess with each such an addition we will be running into the server capcity wall. Only BBs know how much resources is left.

Why did it die then if it was sooo great?

because three teams from the intertoto cup was sent to the uefa cup, therefore the intertoto cup had to be finished before the uefa cup starts and it took place in the summer months. managers did not want their team opening the season that early and players has to cut their holidays short therefore they did not want to participate in the matches. also tv coverages had waay too less viewers than expected. thats why intertoto cup died. but none of these should be an issue in buzzerbeater i guess?

I disagree. I think it should stay a winner's tournament. You win D.1 or Cup, you're in. You don't, try again next year. I don't see a reason why a team has to be good for three seasons to get into the tournament. Just my two baht.

Disagree, why should a team have too wait for 3 seasons, sounds like sour grapes to me to be honest.

Although the idea for a cup winners cup is interesting, particular if the winner is given a bye to the b3 cup the year after, 3 years however is simply a monopoly and has to be avoided.

I don't understand, you are right. I am saying that you win and you are in. Making a team be competitive and qualify for various tournaments for numerous years before they get to play in the B3 isn't, in my opinion, what the B3 is about.

But, I have lost interest in the B3 basically since the year that the German team gave up. And the hilarity of this year's "top" managers is killing me. So hypothesize away, by all means. Maybe we can make it the top 8 teams from each 50 degrees of longitude...
