I know. I was just giving you a hard time because the thread is from 2010.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

if a player has high IS then he will try to rebound his own missed shots near the basket.
he will get more offensive rebounds logically than a player with low IS but same rebound-skills, because the other player doesn´t take much shots near the basket so he can´t rebound much!

The more logically would be if the player has low is he grabs more rebounds, cause he misses more shots and has more oportunities. For example my team is very weak at rebounding, so every game i play other team grabs like 20-25 offensive rebounds , but shoots 34% since my OD is supperior:) My team meanwhile manages to win game with few, like 5 offensive rebounds but only because shots way better percentage, around 51%:D

If your team for example misses 70 shots a game is natural youll get atleast 7 offensive rebounds. if ur team misses like 40 with the same rebounding skillset you can expect only 4 or so:)

Well, i have other hyphotezis about offensive rebounding. since i have 2 very similar guards, and one grabs more offensive rebounds playing at pg pozition than the one at sg does. the only reason it could be, looking at their stats is stamina and DRIVING?:D

Uhm i think that falls on training the pf in rebs and having a outside shooting team. i have had some success with off rebs and the teams i play are not world beaters but if you check my cup game my pf and c and sf sometime alot rebs. My sg get alot off rebs.

I train the /sf/pf c
to pass and defend and i train the pg sg sf in jumpshot then the following weeks rebs, then game shape, stamina . cycle repeat. But it all starts with having pg mono skilled. who can score from the outside as well has having a sf who can shoot from out side. Your pf has to be getting rebs and has to be very dominate inthe inside scoring wise.

Im playing poor teams . So i really cant help but so much in the matter.
