Rondo is also a different player from the guy two years ago who wouldn't bother to keep the opposing PG in front of him.

If you don't think he still has lapses defensively and can't be taken to the hole with ease, you don't watch the Celtics very much. If he played in the West, he'd be abused regularly.

It works both ways, really. Rajon Rondo's role is not to take jumpers, it's to set up his four hall-of-fame teammates for wide-open shots.

You mean, the one-dimensional shooter with bad ankles, the effective yet aging melodramatic scorer, the decent but no longer great offensive PF, and the formerly relevant space eater ;)

but yes, each player has his own role. Put Westbrook into Rondo's role, however, and he excels. Reverse it, and Rondo struggles.

Not to mention, Pierce is not a Hall of Famer. No way. Bernard King isn't in the HOF! He's one of the best scorers to ever play the game! Him and Mark Aguirre are still waiting for election and both were far better players than Pierce in his prime.

GM-Edit: Please avoid using profanity. Remember that there are some younger individuals who also play this game and roam the forums. Thanks.

Ok, perhaps it's none of my business and I shouldn't care, but why is it that all GM's are so quick to close threads in BB-Global that should be in the Help forum; yet, they let topics like this one exist in the help forum that haven't been help forum material for days? A little consistency would be nice, please.

The problem is that there is no main off-topic forum for managers to use for discussions like this. The non-BB national folders are difficult to get to and there's not much posted in them (for most countries, anyway).

which would still make then the right place at the point when it is just about if rondo better then westbrook etc.

But i think the topic start are at the right point, and why not allowing a bit off topic in here.

I'm actually really enjoying the discussion going on here and it makes me wish I could actually watch basketball games on tv here in holland.

And since the non-BB forums of USA and my own country are both pretty dead, I'm glad there's some leeway here.
