MBMD tanked pretty hard today so you're probably in trouble Hank.
Lake Merritt beat MBMD using a pretty legit lineup, but Lake Merritt is really good so I don't think I'm betting on Purdue either.

I'm totally gonna win mine.

BATTLE TO PROVE WHICH IS THE STRONGER DIVISION (obviously the Great 8 is, but I drew home court to make it interesting)

Got a feeling you'll win. Especially with home court. Lol, just noticed you beat me in the season 11 cup too.

That was the first of my back to back DIII finals -- with legit $90k payrolls no-less. Only had a single player making over $8k per week! Good to see my big time star, "the $10k man" is still active: (6702664) The tv/merchandise $ alone was more than my total expenses combined.. & still mad the finals both seasons!! Ah, those were the days. Too bad a $295k monster team ruined the dream & I failed the next time too.

Wow, season 11. Rosales's 48 points in that game were my team record for the next 3 or 4 seasons. I'm not expecting any scoring records this time.

First, let's review round 6 results:

Round 6:

NBBA

Div II
Visionaries - double up the East Siders at home....106-53

Div III
Swampdonkeys - roll by 28....90-62
Gingersnaps - win at home by 20....80-60.
Lovable Losers - dominate on the road....97-20.

Div IV
EDH Wolves - win by 20 on the road...68-48
King Drive Ballers - lose on the road....110-83
Hunterkirualeorio - dominate at home....133-71
Milwaukee Lethargy - win by 78 at home...124-36

Div V
The Illusion - upset at home...84-69

Contortionists - dominate on the road...82-48

So for this round,

9-4. 84-7 overall

--------------------

Round 7 matchups:

NBBA

Div II
Visionaries (23424) Home - * Lethargy
Milwaukee Lethargy (29656) Away - * Visionairies
Lovable Losers (22865) Away

Div III
EDH Wolves (23321) Away
Swampdonkeys (29147) Home
Shock Wave (23213) Home
Gingersnaps (23771) Away
Contortionists (28268) Home
Hunterkirualeorio (22996) Away

Good news bad news this week.

Good news is no NBBA teams. Bad news is no DIV or DV teams either.

Game of the week has to be the Visionaries vs. Lethargy.

Best of luck to the 9 survivors. Two things are certain, we won't have 9 left next week, and we will have at least one team make it to round 8.

Hank

It is possible that both Visionaries and Lethargy lose. Trust me. Both of these teams are equal in many ways. Including the ability to not win and not score.

Lucky for Peluin and shikago...you guys can mTIE so II.3 can live forever in the cup this year.

You guys should also both tank your league games this week to have a better chance of winning two cup games this week...no other reason than that. >.>

You know... I've heard enthusiasm gets stale, so Visionaries should definitely refresh for the cup with a normal or CT vs. their 6/4/2011 league opponent. (whoever that may be)...no other reason than that. >.>

But for real, TIE is a good idea. Up in the air what I'm going to do otherwise. Visionaries will beat me, so that means only 2 games, right? (no chance for a scrimmage?)

Looking to be a bad week for me... My very misleading 5 straight 100 pt games (league + cup) will end, probably going to lose both games, minutes will be screwed up, & no home game revenue..

Actually, you will be able to schedule a scrimmage if you lose. I lost on tues of allstar week last season and scheduled a scrimmage.
