And, you are missing the whole point of my suggestion for an optional regional league. Spain doesn't need a regional league because it already is healthy and thriving with an active gameday chat and forum, etc. Take a look at the forum for Prathet Thai or Vietnam or India. For you to sit on your high horse and say, "too bad for you because you have no people" is a bit selfish in my opinion. People want to have as robust a gaming experience as the Catalans and Gallegos and Boquerones.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

I dont know why you had to pick this example, but my friend who wanted to sign up in Macau is from China, currently living in Shanghai - back then he studied in Austria...

You are overestimating the social network qualities of this game! In Austria we have around 100 users, maybe 15 of those are regulars in the national forums and on gameday you will find 2-4 guys in the chat (first playoff game had a peak of 4 users in the chat).

You are overestimating the social network qualities of this game! In Austria we have around 100 users, maybe 15 of those are regulars in the national forums and on gameday you will find 2-4 guys in the chat (first playoff game had a peak of 4 users in the chat).


so why should your friend play in macau then? He could have got a team in China or Austria, but he shouldn't wonder if he don't get one in macau. Also Austria isn't for germans, who like to play in a smaller country.

And yes maybe the chat isn't floaded, but i also get from time to time mails in game time, i can talk with my opponents who respond normally in time, because they have the same day which also make some league forum work(and yes they are chat inactive league which much better league forum then our top division which is pretty lame).

Macau is a super cool city and I guess joining a small market where you can contend pretty soon is much more interesting than being stuck in a Div IV for years.

The world is not that big anymore, restricting people to their home countries is antiquated.

You have 4 guys on during game time? That is amazing. In our Private League we typically have more than 10 people online with 18 being our record.

As for India, well it is hard to tell how active all the forums are but here are a few of the threads that are all fairly much all from the last season. Not that dead...

There are much more people online, but only a few regulars join the chat - the most Austrians I saw in chat were maybe 7 or 8.
