Sorry to disappoint you but we have advanced, regardless of how you feel, good luck as half the Big 8 will be new. I am sure we will meet again ;)

HCA is not new, and yes HCA was an objective.....he beat me twice when he was at home in the playoffs.

HCA not new ? That is an understatement, I have been in the game since season 9 and all things being equal HCA is the defining factor. I would like to know if someone (besides the BB's) has an analysis of the percentage of W/L with HCA in all league games or at least in the playoffs. I would be willing to wager that the percentage of league winners is heavily weighted to HCA. Good luck in the NBBA.

One other thing I did, before the playoffs started, I changed my PR-Manager to one who specialized in Crowd Involvement.

Good idea, I usually use National Appeal because throughout the season I will take an extra boost for away games, as small as it probably is every bit helps.

Congratulations on your win and good luck in the NBBA.

If you look through the NBBA prediction contest, you'll see I was one of the few to predict you as winner of II.3 at the start of the season. However, that doesn't change the fact that this playoffs was a series of flukes, injuries, and lucky games that didn't exactly demonstrate who was the best team. In fact in that same NBBA prediction thread Coco is downplaying his championship because he knew it was largely possible due to unlucky injuries for the Bulls.

I think everyone has the appropriate-bonus PR guy for playoffs (ie, I had national appeal), and no one cares about injuries in the first round with a 19-3 vs. 9-13 game where you almost double him up ;)

How do you think you'll fare in NBBA? I think you've got a chance to hang with them now that your guards are okay defensively. You could use your $1M to buy a LI offense and probably manage 4th/5th/6th place like Airballers has been doing. You've got a nice arena too so it's gonna be hard for me to catch up with you

Thanks, I appreciate the note coming from you. I always saw you as the team I had to beat to get there, wherever there was; and yes there were a lot of injuries and flukes in our game as well so you point is well taken.

As for the future, you have me pegged pretty well as I am currently looking for another LI offensive player PF/C. Serre is also the other guy that will probably go for some funds as he costs too much for a backup role. My target is to be competitive so a 4-6 finish would be my first target.

Good Luck to you next year in Div II. I can see you fighting with the Contortionists next season for the title, though he has a tougher conference.

Make sure you aim for the league next season cws. If we meet in the cup, just punt. You have more important things to see to. =D

In all honesty, I'd say I only have a 30% chance of making it back to the finals. Peluin has to be the early favorite to promote next season.

Good luck in the NBBA.

My advice: Build your team around Dandy Salvador. He's a STAR. (It even says so on your roster page.) Do that and you'll be fine. Don't do that, & who knows what'll happen..
