I don't know if that's the way. But I dislike being last in the draft every year...

I still got more than 100 draftpoints left, but it isn't worth using them.

Sure there are exceptions to the rules. With new mutations, someone in the family carrieing a taller height gene, that has been suppressed by unknown reasons. Playing around with growth hormone (it's been used in sports for ages now).
There is a simple formulae for calculating heigh of a baby. Dad's height + mom's height +-13 (+ if a boy, - if a girl) / 2, with girls the range is +-8, with boys +-9. Obviously there are a lot of variables that can influence height in fetus stage or later in life (like mom's diabetes, excess insulin in fetus stage, tumors, bad habits like alcohol in the early age etc).
But we are drifting away from the topic again...

I was 5'7" at 14 too. But I just grew an inch over the years and now I'm stuck at 5'8" >_<

Lol yea.. Sorry about that (about drifting off topic) XD

By the way, about height: If we had youth academies, wouldn't early training favour guard skills and later training favour big skills? Since they are suppose to grow taller.

I was 5'9 3/4ths before my 11th birthday at the start of 5th grade. I have not grown a MILIMETER since then.
My dad was the shortest male in his family. 6'5. Genetics is a funny thing.
