My question to BBs:

Can you tell us a little more about the new offense tactics? (Inside isolation and Outside IS) Who is the player who will shoot more? The best outside shooter for example? Or just the player who get the best MR? They will shoot only from outside? Or inside shot its also important?

I played this tactics sometimes and i saw in Outside isolation for example, inside players shoots a lot...

I have a question concerning the two Box+1. the engine chooses the best defender, but who is it? the guy with the best OD+ID+BL or only OD+ID? or is it a fix position (PF or SF) which plays the +1 defender?

About your question, it's very similar to what I asked (you can find it in the linked topic):

some clarifications about BoA defences: The best player/scorer is guarded M2M. How is "the best" calculated? Before the match or during the match? If before the match, what are the parameters...? Salary? Season average? Others? If during the match I guess that "the best" to guard could change over time. The "fifth player" is used to defend M2M. Who is the "fifth man"? The best (outside/inside) defender? Or just the player set in the same position as the opposite "best player"? (eg. the best opposite team's player is a PF... your M2M defender is your PF no matter what?). Is the "fifth man" fixed or changes over time? Why didn't you designed the system to allow managers (us) to decide which man (or position) to guard and which man to use in M2M defence?

While I can't disclose all the details, I can give you a general idea of how the BaO defense works. Before the game starts, both the best offense and defense players are calculated based on their skills, with the offense/defense type in mind. You cannot "set" those players, but you can probably guess who they would be, using some rational thinking and common sense. It was intentionally coded that way. Those player roles remain the same even after substitutions occur, so there are no changes during matches. I may have even said too much already :P

I would actually dislike if they told us how tactics work, takes the fun out of experimenting and trying new things.

I partially agree with you, still a little of explaination on how a tactic is supposed to work is needed when you introduce new ones...

By the way, to BB_Patrick: when winning a league and getting promoted give you a 3 out of 5 on the fan survey for the previous season... why should team try to get long term benfits on fan rather than gaining some money with the 5th place? The fan survey is totally inconsistent with the real performance of a team.

But winning your league gives you 5 balls all season long for "team's performance last season" or was it changed ?

The raise the ticket price thing is already an option available, but not solely for playoffs.

It's part of the clever trade offs required to maximise revenue and it doesn't need fixing/altering.

The TV contract thing would tilt the game balance too much in favour of aiding successful teams to stay at the top.

The new rules actually still reward you for getting first seed as you have an increased chance of facing a 2nd seed with less enthusiasm than you might otherwise have had with 2nd seeds risking a tie knowing that if goes wrong, you are losing out only on 1/3rd of gate receipts.

So, there are now more incentives to go playoffcrunch time in the first round for second seeds, which in turn increases the chances of first seeds winning their second round game and guaranteeing themselves finals revenue.

I think the changes are well thought out, although I actually think it's a bit harsh to take money away from fifth place teams and punish them on attendence most of the following season.

My brother who lives next door, want to register for game. but i asked him to not register because we use same wireless modem and i can get banned. Can that cause any problem? Should i allow him to register?

When you will repair the patient offense? Non-sense if a player attempts 40+ a game with that kind of offense right? It should be outside isolation lol.

Also i wanna see new lines of the commentators. It's so predictable and boring. Just like when the shotclock reaches 0 and the game clock is still running. After how many seconds, mostly 4-30 seconds, there will be a steal. In real basketball, if shot clock is 0, it's already a violation.
