good luck. when Calum returned from an extended stay on the godforsaken moors of Scotland (November 2015), he had some $20 million in the bank. then I essentially spent $9 mil of my $20m on trainees, so down to $11m, in Div 4, inflating TL and no players, I had work cut out to get to NBBA again. I decided to spend a decent amount on salary-efficient players who I could (hopefully) sell for similar prices when I grow out of them. i.e. promote as sustainably as possible. I also committed to buying US only (but that's gone out of the window recently). It's going ok, but have ~$6m, will likely promote into Div II this season, and the who knows?

My original goal was to save up enough to win NBBA and compete in BBB (brian told me it was the only way a USA team would have a chance), but because of the TL, it doesn't look like that will be possible. If I can do it, I'll settle for having 3+ NT players and being competitive in NBBA. this was from an interview with Chekreyes about this time last year.

he just dropped $6.5 million on a player he is hoping will finally get him back to the NBBA. Calum may yet do it, but there are five teams in DII.4 that are currently ranked higher than he is nationally.

A ton of (43 combined) fouls? My team having a brutally terrible 3 point shooting game? Seems like maybe our guys tried to re-enact the NCAA Title game of last night?

The wrong guess and the massive loss to my rebounding when Sheffield fouled out (after 10 minutes!) was just too much for me to overcome without home court. We seemed to take turns fouling like crazy tonight!

I didn't get to watch the Championship game, but I am by default a Gonzaga supporter, since Spokane is technically in my state (and isn't WSU), even if in the Red county wilderness. So, I am officially outraged over that jump ball thing...

Haha. I really should be in the NBBA now, i just was distracted by RL last season at the wrong moment and didn't sign the player i needed!

I'm trying to do it this season, albeit less efficiently. We'll see how it goes. I still don't see myself competing for the NBBA title if i promote though, will be down to about $ 9 with a massive SF hole and missing quality rotation players. At least i'll have the dreaded high salary PG..... :(

The one thing I do is, all my training is done in 2 position.

This allows me to train 5 to 6 players all the time.

I also training older players(I am still training a 28 year old right now).

All of this increases value to my team.

I have had the misfortune of some really bad foul prone players before...But good grief!! My piece of crap first round pick is in historical territory for me. After picking up 3 fouls in 4 minutes of backup action today, he now has 21 fouls in 143 minutes this season...that's one foul every seven minutes!!

Another amazing part of this, is that my opponent tonight is fielding a team where his best player is $4300 and his second best is $3100....so it's not like my guy is getting overwhelmed by much better talent...He's just a joke.

Good stuff!! That was funny....He has 4 (inept) Stamina...so it could be a lot worse!! I think it's as simple as he missed his calling as a serial killer.
