I admit the only reason I CT'd the game was because we were playing lakenation on Saturday. Anything less and we'd be like "close but no cigar" right now.

Lambini down to the finish line next Thursday. Stabby built a competitive team and replicated my first winning season. You built a cookie cutter 2 National team approach. Should be a fun game.

Tonight's opening shows our usual array of sights and sounds as the stage is set for the evenings matchups.

Cue: https://youtu.be/L1j6MDVKB8E

Announcer: as we prepare to head to the all Star break a pecking order has been established. But much can happen and much is yet to be determined. Such as, which side will reign suppreme, will club red continue their accession or does the big 8 have enough in the tank to over take them on the aggregate. Not only that three teams with a long and sordid history against each other from the blues are still part of the cup competition.

The chefs have established themselves thus far as the class of the league. But can Petersburg, which was projected in the preseason capable of pulling the upset or are they looking at the prospect of getting pulled into the relegation zone.

Deronimo is in perfect position to not just keep the pressure on but to vault past them. But instead season where their performance has been all over the mat a victory over the stones is not a sure shot.

2 and bunnies battle to see which can keep pace in their respective races.

Cal gets to cruise into their cup contest Tuesday night against the overmatched barricade.

The generals however are not afforded such luxury with the stout Mavs coming to the coliseum for a visit.

Stormz look to make their way past the Masters to maintain their one game edge atop the standings.

The kitties look to use their free lap against the jammers to perhaps catapult past others .

While the blasters will get a free shot against the nation, though as to if it is a default result or a real chance to round up some easy style points remains to be seen as I think we were all a little surprised the nation last time out sent out such scant manpower

Sybil will have her say, the transfer ticker keeps humming along and we will catch up with the latest coming and goings. We also will look closer at the taco Tuesday night cup matchups and with that in mind we will profile California Knights NT legend Thad Childress who will visit the coliseum this Tuesday as those slack jawed yokels who pull for the generals will finally get to see what a real player looks like. All that and more, so hold off on your trip to the store as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!

Well Coach Lam,

Our MFFL (Mavs Fans For Life) are tailing gating your arena and making shirts to get Leroy Brown in the game tonight. Anyone with a guitar is playing this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvwDohEEQ1E and we will be chanting the lyrics until he gets into the game!

The fact that they gave a walkover last game is why I didn't bother to make a prediction on their offense tonight.

Well Coach Lam,

Oh we already have that song in the pep band repoire. But it is some wiseguy with a six string who follows our players and staff around on game days playing another tune https://youtu.be/YjETcbEDmoQ

And in regards to those shirts, violation of intellectual property. But your fans did get to see him in action, when he was tearing your ticket coming thru the turnstiles, before that you saw Pete Tanner running the ticket booth ( but sir if you upgrade to the lower arena package a voucher good for a hotdog and a Coke is included) So your people actually tailgated tonight? jeez it's 38 with a foot of snow forcast for tomorrow, good luck to the MILFs or whatever your fans call themselves on getting back to Tejas. And if you stick around and get a hotel room do not take the cheerleaders recommendation. Let's just say that for them...."ice" and "snow" are in their forcast in perpetuity.

Very nice win for the home team. But once again the fans stayed away in droves. Maybe it was the weather. Maybe it was being accosted by out of towners Hawking bad merch. Maybe they are still pissed over selling Skinner and McLean. Or maybe Leroy and old Pete Tanner are reporting light on the bleachers, you know they both drive pretty nice cars for the pittance they currently earn.

Can anyone else see Spikefierce on my schedule as a scrimmage? Like I've already lost my cup game. Pretty disrespectful...

Rather than a Bug, maybe it is a new Buzzerbeater Feature for a select few.

Although odd that Cal and Greensboro don't have a scrimmage also listed, given they are still in the cup, if it actually is a new Buzzerbeater "feature."

No package, a straight cold open

A Special Slaughterhouse Presentation
https://youtu.be/7Hhx8CaaMik

Cut to clips of the dogs and season 37 champ Rocket science in action

Cue: https://youtu.be/NgnRDBp3JPA

Announcer: as the rest of the league takes the all Star break to relect and look forwards three teams from the big 8 continue the cup chase. Tonight at the dog pound Cal looks to come up with a special effort to upend former slaughterhouse survivor rocket science who took home the honors back in season 37. It is a stout challenge for a D3 club to topple a NBBA stalwart but the dogs will do their best to match the Generals achievement from two weeks ago.

Cut to clips of the hard Scrabble generals juxtaposed with the elegance of California Knights NTer Thad Childress and u21 standout Giuseppe Picone.

Cue: https://youtu.be/9OgV6o8NjcU

Tonight at the coliseum it is a contrast in styles in play. It's the hard hats and lunch pails of the homestanding generals against the flashy high end California Knights who also have ties to the slaughterhouse having relegated from the league following season 30, which was when the generals joined the fray. The knights make their third appearance in the round of 64 as they are out to equal their run to the round of 32 back in season 32. For the generals this is their 5th appearance in the field and their second in three seasons. But prior efforts have seen the franchise hit the wall, will this be the time they finally break thru?

And now the images move to the old hand Deronimo and their opponents the upstart PV Pride.

Cue: https://youtu.be/2DUqplxIcNk

And then there is the team who has been around for it all. A team that has competed on every level. A team that has seen the highs, and the lows. And tonight Deronimo makes their first trip back into the field of 64 since season 35. And tonight they battle a relative newcomer to the scene as PV Pride will make their first appearance this deep in the cup proceedings.

Sybil with seer into her crystal ball. Even though it's an off week there is still plenty of action on the transfer ticker to reset and we will take a closer look at tomorrow's all Star festivities. So put an extra long on the fire, it's time for it all to transprire as it's a slaughterhouse round of 64 edition of BB2NIGHT!
