I really liked the option to adjust prices in BB at first, though I assumed there was some total revenue cap. That doesn't appear to be the case.

there is an total revenue cap, but you won't really think, that you culd reach that with blecher prices around 15? In this case the adustment make no sense in that limits.

And you still need a lot more inocome, next season we will have several 21 players who earn around 150k Dolalrs, and the policy of the BB was that there is no farming necessary and those player still learn pretty fast.

You don't know this. The more bleachers you have and the lower you set the higher revenue goes. If there is a ceiling to this nobody know what it is. For now 36000 bleachers @ 11 will get you close to 400k (not including tax) in that section alone. Nobody can saw what the max is cause it hasnt been reached yet.

For a team with say 10k bleachers (which is prob well over the ave for even d1 teams), catching up with this would cost 5.2m, just in bleachers alone.

in this case watch your "enemys" and learn from them, as far as i know only germany have that big arenas yet and we are adapting from teams like Tall Blacks, ESV laim and the Bulls.

The 10k bleachers was pretty low for a german div 1 team, i would say a normal team in our league has around 20k and because of the team succes we also manage this for prices around 11 bugs ;) So we are relatively in the same area, in ticket prices and efficiency.

In other country it is mostly the same, and maybe we think a bit too late to build but we see could see the facts what a big arena brings and we also should keep an eye on the opposing teams(and top teams of your country) and what they doing, so that it doesn't happen that you play with a 10k arena vs an 40k one.

I'm not arguing for my sake, but for any team that hopes to have any chance of challenging the established teams. I understand the "arms race" you all are having in germany, and now the rest of us around the world are joining in on to hope to compete on the international level.

But, what about the teams promoting to our divisions, how are they expected to have any chance? For instance, none of the teams potentially promoting to D1 in germany are prepared to compete, except for one team that was only relegated to DII last season.

If it costs 5kk to catch up, Italian and Spanish teams only need to sell one of their best players.

I believe a guard with 14/14/14 is worth something like 4kk for example.

Sell it and use all the money to expand arena. If all italian top teams do that, they will equally become more fragile, and that would mantain the level of competitivity and avoid the seller to automatically relegate to freakish div.II.

I bet a lot of teams around the world would go to the line to buy those players.

Teams that have pioneered, and the few well positioned to follow, in expanding arenas well past what you'd assume a basketball arena to be will become untouchable to all but a handful of the 45k and growing teams in the game.

You didnt read my prior posts or didnt comprehend my point. I'm not really concerned about established d1 teams. You example of top italian or spanish teams are most likely in good position to take advantage of this. In the first 4-5 seasons teams made much more money per season then any teams that have started in the last few seasons.

i think this problem is in mnany countries, because you earn a lot in the first devision, before they make the regulations even with a small arena which gives the old first divisiioners and good advance in front of the teams who started below.

(34185) - this team started in league for of germany, don't traded players and have an nice arena + plays a good season in league one.

We have many team even in our third league, who have bigger arenas then the biggest in italy first.

It isn't easy to catch up but with a bit of time you could catch up, at least to the medium teams, because they earned not much more then the good teams the league below.
And i am pretty sure the times you earn a lot every week will end the next 2-3 seasons in the top division, even in germany because high salary player get avaible and even got more expensive.
