I think moderators are off the trail by judging some messages as of topic in this thread as everything related to B3 participant is on topic in my eyes. If someone judge on topic messages this way I think 90% of all messages around all forums in BB have to be deleted.
Once in a while there is really interesting and active discussion in normally lifeless forum and it has to be stopped for what reason?

This is well known anecdote about Larry Bird. And it is arrogant, self confident, maybe childish, bad behaviour, etc ;-)
But it is harmless and funny ;-)
And in this way legend of Larry is greater and I think nobody depreciates he was one of the best player in NBA. And (afaik) nobody complained becaue of these words ;-)
Verbal battle is one of the most important thing in NBA ;-) Therefore many people on whole world love NBA.

What I want to say?
To be funny one of the BBs has this quote in his footer ;-) So BBs accept similar behaviour ;-)
In previous season Misagh Alizade did exactly the same. He went to global forum, opened thread and said: "I want all of you to know I am winning this thing" ;-)
And then many users started to depreciate him, started to cry because of bad behaviour, etc ;-) And in current season we have the same situation.
And.. BBs don't accept these complaints in this topic ;-)
Because of these complaints topic in previous season had to be closed, and yesterday this topic in current season was closed too. If You aren't able to play in funny way so please don't spoil play of others ;-)
Maybe comparision Larry Bird to Iranians is too brave...
But please think which behaviour in this topic is childish ;-)

So let's back to topic. Question is - what is better? 16-0 or 23-1? ;-) Difference in 2nd case is better ;-)

If we didn't moderate the forums and encourage people to stay on topic, why would we need the threads anyway? Let's make only one general thread and discuss whatever is on our mind, right? Instead of this, someone who wants to talk a bit about BBB comes here and finds 100+ last messages about a thing that has very little to do with BBB. Of course it's linked to BBB, but a lot of things in BB are linked at least weakly one to another, so that's really not an argument.

No one is stopping you by creating a new thread called whatever you like and continue to discuss this issue there, so we actually are not "stopping" the conversation in general; we are just stopping it in this thread.

Great point. This way you can close any topic that gets quickly 100 messages and enjoy BBB thread with 2 messages per week.

- Toroo didn't give up the national title. They gave up the cup. In theory, the NT is what we fight for in this game, and B3 is a little cosmetic thing on top of that.

the National tournament is more important than league ! this is my opinion ! ;)

Well, I think you can start a new topic perhaps. The moderator already told you it's fine, as long as no one insults any other user.
I think the discussion it's not over, I still read interesting posts. "Will Freeman" wrote something I consider clever and could be discussed. VS hasn't spoken yet. And so on.

You went completely off-topic with this reply. The reason we stopped the conversation about "I Love Tehran" is because it was off-topic and not because it generated a lot of messages or any other reason. We don't have any problem with talking about that, but not in that topic. And that's all there's to say.

As for the BBB... GO LUSER!

I do agree that these posts about iranian teams are not off topic... why not discuss how certain team did get to B3 ?!
I don't aprove what they did, but I don't like that the finger was pointed only to iranian teams, i do belive that many teams got to the B3 becuse the cup winning team let the other team in the league win the championship.
Just in their case it was to obvious... in some way I also let my friend beat me in the league final.
Don't go cheking that final... it was dull :) Lets say i am talking teoraticly.
I didn't let him win but I gave him a fighting chance... that I didn't have to give him. I belive that puts me in the same basket with VS... and do belive that this problem could be solved by adding some kind of prise for league winners also.

Some players, like me, don't care about trophys, we only need good interesting games... and if I can give my good friend a pleasure of one more good game per weak (in B3) i will do so especially as it doesn't cost me nothing at all. And also if I can save a friend from relegation I will let him beat me if he needs points, that also doesn't cost me nothing but it costs some other poor team who will be relegated because of that... that is even more dishonest than what VS has done and that is something that is done on more regular basis than giving a title to someone else.
Even in last 32 B3 we have team(s) how entered there just becuse someone let them win.
