I thought about it but it would have been wasteful. I was hoping for a first-round victory, and then I was going to use that enthusiasm toward the conference final. I had a plan for Hipster that I thought was pretty solid (predicted pace and style), and loaded up on a defensive setting to counter their offensive setting. Statistically, I'm pleased with the outcome (equal fouls and turnovers, FT's made and only 1 REB difference), but he's just better and deeper than my squad without those two. HCA was a factor, but more so talent was a factor in that matchup.

Nuking you would just have been a jerk move to only prevent you from having a playoff opportunity. I took the "belief in self" approach ; )

Thanks, you had some bad luck with Harrell going down, I had a badly timed injury with Vilela as well this series, hate to see injuries get in the way of a final.

And good luck to everyone next year, I haven’t been too active on the MBs this season, but there are some good teams here in DII.1, hope to see some of you in the NBBA in the near future!

Thanks, I wasn’t totally ready two seasons ago, then Maxwell got injured and I decided to try a half season tank to maximize revenues and get a high draft pick (unfortunately, the draft sucked!). This time, I think I have 3 sold NBBA starters and a lot of good NBBA rotational guys. I’m thinking my core has about 4 seasons before a big drop. Hoping to add a player or two and not totally kill my budget.
