Forest has a chance, no question about it. His training partner is also looking pretty solid, to bad he plays for the wrong team :P

I have opened a similar thread in the Global Forum in order to allow more people to see the incredible work of Bballin!

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...

When I asked for assistance with scouting and PR I had no idea that someone would step on and do so much. These reports are awesome and as evident by many of the recent posts they are being enjoyed by far more than just the Canadian community. Bballin and Eminence Front, you should both be commended for the time and effort you have put into these. They are helping bring Buzzer Beater enjoyment to many!

Thanks again,

-beanerz

1 Al Maghrib 3 0 334 221 1.000
2 Misr 3 0 350 239 1.000
3 Nigeria 3 0 299 198 1.000
4 South Africa 2 1 340 289 0.667
5 Al Jazair 1 2 284 340 0.333
6 Senegal 0 3 224 310 0.000
7 Tounes 0 3 219 323 0.000
8 Ghana 0 3 220 350 0.000

Senegal(0-3) 76- Al Maghrib(3-0) 99: Senegal went with a 3-2 zone and managed to match Al Maghrib on the perimeter but couldn't touch them down low and was down 29 going into the 4th. For some reason Al Maghrib put more effort into this game, smart move by Senegal, probably would've had to CT to have any shot at it and it still would've been close. POTG: Al Maghrib PF Hafiz Mahmoud posted an excellent 15.5 rating to go with 20pts and 12rebs on 9-11 shooting.

Tounes(0-3) 77- Nigeria(3-0) 98: Tounes went for the W and couldn't pull themselves back into it after being outscored by 11 in the 1st quarter. Nigeria won every PP/100 matchup and looks strong moving on in the tournament. POTG: Nigeria C Richmond Sadiq looked strong with 14pts and 20rebs.

Al Jazair(1-2) 88- Misr(3-0) 114: A nice win for Misr on less effort, they dominated the 1st and 3rd quarters winning them by a combined 34 pts. Misr did a much better job of assisting their shots, with 31 assists to Al Jazairs 18. POTG: Misr PF Sulayman Yousef had 20 pts and 13 rebs to go with a 17.5 rating.

Ghana(0-3) 96- South Africa(2-1) 131: South Africa played excellently on less effort, with 107+ PP/100 including a 140+ at the PF position. Another ridiculous assist number, South Africa had 38 to Ghanas 10. POTG: South African SF Jeff Wall dominated the game with 37 pts on 18-21 shooting.

2 Philippines 2 0 244 167 1.000
3 Indonesia 2 0 224 209 1.000
4 Nippon 1 1 173 178 0.500
5 Prathet Thai 1 2 237 294 0.333
6 Saudi Arabia 0 3 272 300 0.000
7 Hanguk 0 3 280 366 0.000

Saudi Arabia(0-3) 93- Nippon(1-1) 97: Saudi Arabia came out strong, but lost the middle two quarters before coming back in the fourth to make a game out of it. Ratings and Matchups were near even across the board and it was most likely the home court that got it done for Nippon. POTG: Nippon C Kaname Kouzuki had a dominant 16 pt, 21 reb performance.

Prathet Thai(1-2) 60- Taiwan(3-0) 87: Tied at halftime Taiwan got fired up in the 2nd half and threw it down low to their big men and let them go to work. Prathet Thai had serious trouble rebounding and finished -19 in that category. POTG: Taiwans PF/C combo of Lee Tat Chung and Zhu Hsien Liang combined for 32 pts and 31 rebs.

Hanguk(0-3) 117- Indonesia(2-0) 122: A real barn burner of a game Hanguk steadily built a lead until halftime, but Indonesia came out firing on all cylinders in the 3rd and put themselves up for good. These two combined to take 203 shots over the course of the game, with no team scoring below 21 pts in any quarter. Hanguk's scoring came from the outside while Indonesia's came from the inside. POTG: Indonesian PF Yahya Astaman went off for 25 pts and 18 rebs.

6 Kazakhstan 0 3 283 361 0.000
7 Việt Nam 0 3 250 329 0.000

Viet Nam(0-3) 71- China(2-0) 117: China continues to look excellent, posting a 108+ PP100 at every position. For some reason Viet Nam only played 7 players, with one of them getting less than a minute of PT. POTG: Chinese PF Zhong Feilong had a strong 18 pt 18 reb game.

Kazakhstan(0-3) 93- Malaysia(3-0) 106: Kazakhstan led by 4 going into the final quarter, but Malaysia really turned it on and scored 42 pts in the 4th to leave Kazakhstan in the dust. Really surprisingly close over the first 3 quarters- especially on equal effort. POTG: Malaysian PF Muhammad Hairulnizam bin Ithnin stats weren't amazing with 23 pts and 13 rebs, it was his +/- # that looked great, with a +20 when no other players were over a +12.

Lubnan(1-2) 85- U.A.E.(1-1) 73: Lubnan took a risk in this game by using more effort, but it really payed off in the 4th when they outscored U.A.E. 27-9. With this win Lubnan now has a decent shot of catching U.A.E. and moving on to the next round. POTG: Lubnan SG Hosni Skojha finished with 26 to lead all scorers.
