I'm hoping it does but he's been around so long who knows what kind of cash reserves he has built up. That's the big x-factor. I'm hoping the fact he's auctioning off two young players means he's running low and needs to raise money quick. Every player on his roster was drafted by him, which is incredible. I'm thinking that means he would have preferred to hold onto those players, but that's speculation on my part.

Probably can't count on this forcing him to make major changes but hey, that's not our problem for awhile at least. Cheers 😂

A lot of us got tough cup draws this round. Except for Javamen who got another bot, the lucky bastard :P and CA Foreigners who has a country rank of 225 (!) so even though his opponent is higher ranked than him it's not by too much.

Yeah, that Atlanta game pretty much hit me hard and out of nowhere. It will make me lose more money than I really wanted for the next month.
Not planing to cut any of my starting five though (I hoarded enough cash to survive a few seasons like this). I will try to sell any of my high potential young players. Will throw them on the market with prices a bit higher to see if anyone bites. I need to cut down from six to three trainees until midseason, so no rush there.

Have to win against the Coyotes now though (rival game), and the cup game... Pretty bad scheduling right now and my best player has game shape issues...

Anyway, nice to see that the league is very active here. The Div III where I came from was dead and that was no fun whatsoever.

Good Luck to everyone, that should be an interesting season.

I figured you would have the money to cover it (especially as long as you stay alive in the cup, which is a nice supplemental income) but that's unfortunate to hear that you won't be selling your starting 5 :) Definitely hoping you promote this season so that way when my team gets more ready to actually compete for a championship I won't have to go through you.

CA your scheduling was bad, but mine is terrible right now. At Austin eagles then against you(CA) then playing against Mof state grizzlies. Which even thought they are a much higher rated team I think I have a chance.

Goodluck tonight boys. Definitely looking at the Austin Eagles vs SD. Byers game shape is inept?? Might not be a factor this game. Definitely going with SD to win

He's playing 45 minutes a night or more, including cup games - manager doesn't care about running him into the ground. At the end of the day, I can't see him hanging with the other three in the Great 8 if he doesn't get a little smarter with his personnel decisions.

He did the same thing last year if I recall. Starts off the year dropping all his players to inept GS. Then after he loses the cup he starts rotating players and making sure they stay around strong GS.
