For what it's worth, I hope that people didn't interpret my post as complaining that the new staff system isn't here.

I assume that the BBs are working on it, and I'd rather have a fully-functioning version a bit behind time than an untested version that is rushed together to make some arbitrary deadline.

Well, nobody has blamed me for anything, but I just hate to think something that we all have been waiting for as much as the new staff system has been delayed for a couple of days by (among others) my impatiance...

Anybody can understand that reasons, but.. why now? If the problems hapenned the monday, I think that this explanation must appears the tuesday... but today is thursday...

I think that the BB's forget that we deserve explanations.... This is a community game...

If you actually read what Charles wrote, you definitely didn't understand it. Let me highlight the key points:

The conversion from the old system to the new one involves a ton of processing


we basically had to start the whole conversion process over, and because it involves updates to the game engine, we have to pause the conversion on game days


We're doing things as fast as we possibly can


An explanation was given, including why it's still delayed.
