I will also say that I do think in reality those who try to block a lot of shot do foul more.. though I don't think I want that part of BB because I dont want training a good player a little bit more in shot blocking to make him worth less because he fouls out all the time. Since there is no way to "untrain" it would be very bad for an owner to discover he invested training in his star player and actually made him less valuable.

I believing today we have the same problem, when you train blocking the salary increase pretty much with nearly no effect on the gameplay ... I checked the players with blocking 10 on the tl in the past, and they usually made around 1 Block per game or even less. Which ain't a noticeable different to other Centers, or at least no big different.

Also Centers with blocking reach their potential earlier then others, so you was punish in 2 ways for training blocking and it would be fine when you could untrain it today, or make it usefull

Or exclude SB from salary and potential calculation till it works.

Who said anything about fixing a bug? And how is anticipating the need for better coding and adjusting accordingly 'wrong' - you can't adopt that position, I'd sugest, until the end game is played out. We ain't there yet.

No it doesn't. If the code doesn't reflect NBA stats, it needs fixing. Mind you, I'm an artist and you're a scientist, so arguing the semantics could take a long, long time. Not least because the words have different meaning to logical thinkers that they do to empathetic-oriented communicators. Yes, 'fix' can mean mend, it can also mean to put in good order - and shot blocking is currently out of order. Recognising that, identifying it must be improved upon (better?) and anticipating the final position is good Game Theory.
