Not necessarily. Higher pace means more possessions overall so if you have players who are turnover prone then they'll obviously have more turnovers simply from having more possessions.
Now more possessions generally means more shot attempts as well which is the main draw to it. The only problem is that the shots are a bit more rushed so the shot attempts are a little lower quality, especially if you don't have decent offensive flow and a higher paced game is going to burn up your stamina a little quicker as well.
Of course, if you completely dominate the other team in rebounding then missing a few extra shots might be a good way to feed your rebounders ;)
