Thanks! That's what I feared. As a newby, I wish it would have been more obvious in the directions. Now, my bigger fear is that I'll have a negative balance, have salaries increased and be forced to sell my starters just to compensate

Being in the negative short term is fine, as a new team it is quite common. I was in the negitive several times in my first season, no biggie!!!

Thanks for the reassurance. But since we don't have any games during the offseason, why do we have to pay player salaries during these 2 weeks?

This is a valid point but pretty normal. When you take holidays from work you still get paid right? I guess that is the logic behind the salaries continuing thru the off-season.

It makes making the playoffs alot more rewarding, rightfully so.

Ha, depends on the job you have. But don't misunderstand me, I'm really enjoying this site and my team. I'm just trying to understand all the rules.

Very true!

Well you are going about it the right way. The forums are decent for info otherwise if you need anything let me know. I can try and help, I have only been here a few seasons but have had some great mentors and advice along the way.

Cheers and good luck.

-17.000 is not a big deal and they won't fire you for that. increasing ticket prices if you sell out, selling some players or cutting the expenses would work tho.

u get money by raising ticket prices as i can see u have already did...

be patient

man,Jorge Díaz seems so poor...fire him! and so if u dont sell any of your six players u sell...u need max 12 players ...u'll also get some money from the cup...try to continue for 1-2 rounds

i dont know about ur stuff....maybe u pay too much for them...give us their salaries

train 1-2 positions only...and stick to one training style

hope for the best

sack/sell 8 players minimum (possibly 10) - why do you own 20 guys?

This will free up $15k a week easily in cash-flow.

You have til the next financial update so list latest on Thursday early hours of the morning and if no takers bite the bullet and sack them before the financial update.

If no-one is prepared to pay you $1k for them then is it worth paying them $2k a week to sit on your roster?
