Its the demand and the offer and as CrazyEye said some times those comparisons are really bad.

I have sold a player that it was on a range of 3.2M-4M for just 2. Why? very good primary (JS JR OD) but very very low 2ndaries. For example 3 on PA 6 on HA 5 on DR, something like that. I think that now u get the point.

Yes, I totally agree, secondary skills influence the transfer rates a lot...
and in the case of trainees also people should bare in mind that we're two weeks into the new season. Young players are a bit cheaper now than a week ago because many have already bought those they plan on training, and spent a lot on them, thus making these ones cheaper...

oh ok but still we're talking about 19 year old guy but ok and i thought i might get some mone for it, like if the price range is 200-800 thousand atleast 50 000 - 100 000. can be transfer comparion so bad that it goes off with 187 000?

most extreme case was 3.000.000- 4.800.000 with one of my players, who was worth around 150k ... But this comparision get checked by the BB's, but for the 100k range i saw sometimes curious cases(or get then reported, from other users)

Another factor that you may need to take into account is the holiday season (I may be totally wrong here!). But over xmas I noticed that some players were available for real bargain deals! I picked up an 8600 SF that says "ones with skills most similar to Leandro Menoyo have been selling for around $ 500 000 to $ 1 500 000." for 150000 and struck some other good pieces of business.

Sometimes (I guess) people allow bids to start low because they figure out that they're gonna climb quickly, but some guys may search the TL with a minimum bid and players end up disappearing under the radar, so the seller has less bidders than expected (I'm just conjecturing this stuff, so let me know what you think!)

And a happy new year! :P
