dmi is telling u all and nothing... if u got two players with same skillset and same gameshape... it could indeed tell you which one is performing better this week. but this is theoretical.

in the old salaryformular the dmi/1000 could tell you the approximate salary of this player if salaryupdate would happen now... that should still work with lower accuracy.

the dmi is a numerical sum of all skills a player has, but in fact dmi is useless, since gameshape has a major roll on changing it

Maybe I am silly but I do look at it when I am playing weak teams to get a feeling about their current potential. I use it to decide if I can afford to rest my starters or even take it easy. If a team's players are all in inept game shape with low DMI then my stars all get the game off! Am I silly?

wouldt say u are silly. i guess we are doing similar. i dont watch the dmi, i watch gameshape etc. but since dmi is major influenced by gameshape... i guess its almost the same.
