So is home court advantage the only way a teams ratings might change in 2 games if everything else is the same?

Oh and in addition to my questions above, does the strength of the other team affect your end of game team (not player) ratings?

I don't think I'm coming across as clearly as I would like...let me try this:

If I played game 1 with take it easy and got these team ratings:

outside scoring: average
inside scoring: average
perimeter defense: average
inside defense: average
rebounding: average
offensive flow: average

In game 2 if I used the exact same conditions except with Crunch Time, would my team ratings be:

outside scoring: average
inside scoring: average
perimeter defense: average
inside defense: average
rebounding: average
offensive flow: average

?

For the above two games, assume that EVERYTHING except the attitude level is the same. Same players, same tactics, same lineups, same opponent, same opponent players, same opponent tactics, same opponent lineups. The ONLY difference is that game 1 would be using take it easy and game 2 would be using crunch time.

the question is, does a change in attitude level affect team ratings in the box score? Assuming everything else is completely identical

It will be higher in the second case. However, it will be higher in the second case no matter which attitude level you chose - the TIE in the first game allows your team to have stronger defensive ratings in the second game anyway, even with another TIE. However, in the match after the CT, your rating will be lower than in your first game, while with another crunch time they increase even more (even though they stabilize once the enthusiasm reaches about 10)

However, a change in the attitude level itself does not have an influence on the team ratings in the box score. Still, it will be visible which attitude you chose - you simply get better outsomes with CT than with normal than with TIE. Still, the long-term costs of using CT might be quite high ;)

I meant to take each game completely independently, as in hypothetically assume that one game has no effect on the other. That each game is in a unique situation. If enthusiasm is at 5 in both cases, but in one game you use TIE and the other you use CT, would the team ratings in the box scores for each of those games look different or the same? Assume that everything you can think of is identical in each game, and each game is independent of the other, the only difference being that one game you use TIE and the other you use CT.

No, under these hypothetical circumstances the ratings would be the same. The results wouldn't, though...

in my eyes yes i believe you get better ratings against better competion(but i won't guarantee that)

Another point to the general discussion, the rating get also affect through the game change made by the coach. So if you face a team which play 2-3 Zone, you will probadly end with better outside ratings while you get better inside ratings when you play against a good outside defence.

Thanks. I was curious about enthusiasm level and the ratings. That clears it up a bit.

So the other team's tactics will have an affect on your team ratings, that is interest...
