Will buying players affect this negatively or positively?

Does firing a player affect the ball rating for the "I am familiar....." category? I read that it doesn't. That's why I'm using a strategy where I buy a new team each week made up of 1k scrubs and then fire them before the update, only paying for my trainees' salaries.

I've sold 4 players so far in my six-weeks-old BB career, and listed 2 others that didn't sell and were subsequently fired. I'm on 1.5 balls right now, I'm not sure what the rating started at when I was a brand new team.

Sorry when Hijacking this thread, didn't want to start a new one - but how can it be possible to get 2.5 balls at:

"I am pleased with the team's performance last season" after winning the damn national cup, biggest team success in over 14 seasons. Why shouldn't my fans be extremely happy with my last season? This is really frustrating!

I'm guess that since there's already a cup subsection to the survey, they aren't particularly happy about your league results of 14-8 and first round exit from the playoffs.

Which frankly isn't that far off the mark, at least for how we approach things in the US. Sure, I'm happy when TEAM USA can win Olympic Gold, but I'd rather see the Bruins win the Stanley Cup again.

Seems to be a clash of cultures. In europe a championship is more valuable than cup title, but a title/finish that qualifies you for international competition would still be considered as great success...
