Well that is just because SB is a defensive skill and doesnt show result as good as for example JS or JR. JR is a good example cause it is pretty much the same as SB but for guards. The one big differense is that you actually can see your players sinking mor threes with it in comparence to SB that not always is shown. But as i said, that if a developer says it is worth training i dont see any reason as why not to do it.
Wrong example. You see the difference in outside shooting efficiency on 3pt% an overall FG% when you improve JR,you don't see any substantial difference in the FG% of the adversaries when you improve ShotBlocking
The fact that a player with inside skills+shotblocking is better than a player with only inside skill is more than obvious and this is what Charles said...but the price on salary and potential cap compared to the performance SB gives you is absolutely too high and make more convenient train other inside skill or better spend your time in training secondaries skills
And those C's your talking about are just mono skilled monsters hardly anyone can afford. Most of them spend more time on the TL then actually play in a top team as they should.
Wrong,again
Example
Chile(world champion) big man salaries:
Ulf Görnitz $ 329 608
Salvador Barth $ 156 736
David Tapia $ 485 084
Laureano Bacigalupo $ 254 553
Luis Guzmán $ 261 187
Apart from Tapia, that in fact is always in bad shape, the other players seems to me affordable for the top teams...and again, chile is the world champion
China big man salaries:
Damdinsuryn Juchin $ 205 406
Sikong Congxing $ 280 460
Guo Hairong $ 247 715
Zhong Feilong $ 309 388
Sha Chenglin $ 429 760
Wu Wenmin $ 155 597
Lin Junhan $ 184 218
Again, apart from Chenglin, these are affordable salaries for a top team
