Indonesia has a better team, better salaries than Lebanon. But, with good shapes and tactic, Lebanon could reach 4th place. There is a very small chance, but it's still a chance

In my little opinion, the aim wouldn't be to fight for the 4th palce, but to involve the Lebanese people to build a powerful system we can work with for the future. Certainly we must do as better as possible, but firstly we must plan the future because otherwise Lebanon will continue to be a mediocre National team.

Most of the young lebanese players are retired or playing in a "managed by computer" team. There are only 3-4 active teams in second division, and a lot of active teams will give up after a few weeks.
I know that's not the same kind of country, but in France we organized the training of young players that could reach the NT (the organism is called ODP). Even if the number of players is not the same, even if the potentials are not equivalent, that kind of initiative is the best solution for any NT. I worked there, and that's what i want to implement, in order to overtake some nations that are better nowadays but don't make progress.

May I ask by what do you mean by ODP training?
For any successor U21 coach, due to the large number of signups and dropouts you should always search for players to save from those teams ... As a NT manager, i have been doing so and there's a player I saved 3 seasons ago, now he plays for the NT because he was bought and trained well by an Uruguayen coach.

In the ODP, we gave advices to manager how to train players in the best way to reach NT.
Good and potential players are not always in teams that managers know how to maximize the training (for example train one position instead of two), so the aim was to help these managers.

I think that saving young players that are going to be retired is a very good thing, and very important. As we have 18 available slots, it is really possible to reserve 4-5 for players in danger.

That's simple. 2 seasons ago Iceland was led by a manager, I know him becuase I was one of his Iceland scout, who wants to involve the BB-population, and in a little BB-population like the Iceland I could make an excellent team thanks to an efficient communication system. Without this, we can't go anywhere. However, that's only my little opinion. :)
