so am I but in real life you can see from the bench when team switches zones or M2M or off and so as the other coach...you can draw a posessions screens and other here you cant so thats nearly impossible cause the script is so big and such a drastic change would need a re programing the hole engine

They won't get an advantage becouse as I said only if both coaches are live and agree to do so it will be used.

Moved to suggestions.

and theyll have to not only rewrite the whole script theyll have to run the one for those who are online on another server and synchronize it this could cause many bugs wrong chart box scores results,server crashes....and so on

and people get frustrated when there opponent don't appear to the games ;)

I won't like it, because also because the effect are pretty drastic of the strategys today which means it could become a who switch his strategy earlier game.

But how would you know when your opponnent swithces his tactic? How would you know which tactic did he use in the begining of the game? You will need to watch the game develop and decide whether to change soemthing or not based on the succes, or lack of it, of the current tactic.

Well, the question. How many % of users would use this new feature in your estimation?
We have some problems here:
-Both should be online during all the game
-Both should use PC browser not mobile browser
-Both shouldn't go to the toilet during 1.5 hours(ok, there is 15min break)
-Both should want to use this feature

As for my estimation, near 5% could use it. Does it cost the time and effort of the developers?

I think it would be alot easier to implement to add "alternate tactics" to the game. So you advise your coach to "swith to plan B" if "opponent does this or that".

For example:

Starting Offensive Tactics: Motion
Alternate Tactic: Look Inside
Trigger: if opponent plays 3-2 Zone, switch to Alternate Tactic at the beginning of the next quarter (next half)

Starting Defense: Inside Box Plus 1
Alternate Tactic: Man to Man
Trigger: if opponent playes Run and Gun, switch to Alternate Tactic at the beginning of the next quarter (next half)

If you limit the choices, options wouldnt blow up the game, yet it would become more realistic, as coaches usually see if something doesn´t work out fine and tend to aplly some changes.

In addition, one might ponder letting a team choose a tactic / game scheme for every half or every quarter, attacking the other team with different schemes and trying to take advantage of strong bench players.

Actually Pressing might become a viable option if you only use it for one quarter to get the opponents set up screwed up.

But they get advantage in comparison to other teams in league. Because in this way you can better control and optimize minutes, and therefore form and training in club should be better.
