If you go to the tactics page for the next game and load former match tactics from that game it will show that you did in fact save the roster with just one player. Sorry about your problem but looks like a human error to me.

Thanks a lot for the reply.

I think there must have been some sort of glitch (for lack of a better term) with my browser most likely. Yes, I see that it got saved with only 1 player... But I know for *certain* that I didn't set it that way manually. I double checked & looked it over on different days (such as after games when the weekly minutes updated). It was displayed as being set the way I wanted each time I checked in the days before the scrimmage, so I'm not sure how this happened.

This is why I think for it to be purely human error seems highly illogical:
To save a lineup with 1 player at PF and the position switches, I'd have to have set my lineup, then set the defensive switches. After that then have manually clicked on / selected each active player and move them all over to inactive -- except for 1 player for some reason -- then have decided it would be wise to actually *save* it???

But as I said, my lineup was saved properly every time I checked it... Which would probably mean that the final time I would have had to have changed it somehow... But doing so involves manually clicking on / selecting each active player -- except for 1 -- then moving them all over to the inactive side. Making players inactive would then show a completely *blank* lineup, except for the lone active player at power forward. Even after all that, I would still have to manually click on "send orders" for it to save! (Why someone would suddenly feel compelled to do all that is beyond explanation as well).

So, can you see why this seems strange to me?

It is much simpler. You set the lineup, submitted it, then hit back in your browser and submitted the lineup again (this time with the crooked lineup).

Just try it like I described and look what your lineup shows after that procedere.

I agree with Knecht on this one. It is an easy mistake to make, not such an elaborate one as you wrote.

Interesting. I see what you mean. Yes, that's very close... every time I do that it shows 0 players.

But!! I get this red error message when I try to submit:
The Tactics page has encountered an error. Please reload this page from your team's Schedule page.

So, it won't let me do that! And when I check the lineup again it's still normal. (Not zero players). I tried many times & keep getting that result.

Oops, didn't see your reply. Was busy testing his idea.
I would agree, but... I keep getting that error message when I do what he says?

I thought this was interesting.

So I checked it out in my browser (Chrome) as well. Like Knecht says, all my players except for 1 (my PF) disappeared. All my other players also disappeared from the box on top. So it sounds likely to me that this happened with you as well (even the PF thing is the same).

Also your screenshot looks a bit weird since it shows the field in a different way than mine (ok, maybe not weird....different).

Yours also still has all the players in the box, while mine all got removed.

Yes, it does looks weird! But only after the error.

This is before I submit: (http://i52.tinypic.com/307p0r7.jpg) Everything looks normal & all my players are removed.
This is after I submit: (http://i56.tinypic.com/rksgpk.jpg) It looks weird & I also have the error message.

Thanks for the info. Ah, so Chrome only leaves 1 player & even the PF! I'm using Firefox, & it always leaves 0 players... I use Firefox 99% of the time. But it's possible I checked it on another device one day... Chrome doesn't give an error message?

Thanks. Don't have Chrome installed here, so couldn't try.
