The BBs need to clarify that part of the rule. There are players with salarys under 1000 who are valuable for scrimmages. Yet, they are not placed on the TL.

Well that would suck because I have two or three guys that are below your suggested $10k that would serve most teams very well as as a starter even for some teams looking to stay at best mildly competitive in III.

I would think old players that don't have the necessary skills or young players with absolutely no potential and/or skills should be removed. I think if the BB Staff employed a program or group of individuals to go over each released player that meet a certain set of standards like age and skill set or potential and determine their fate.

Think of it this way. If u decide to sell the players u mentioned and the market is flooded with similar players from bot teams then there will be less competition to buy your players and they will likely sell for less.

Do that and the market would suddenly become saturated with $3000-$9999 players and that would definitely not be good for the transfer market or the game itself. Owners would be picking these guys off the transfer market for a fraction of what they pay now.

The system they use was well thought out and it works, no need to change it.
