Still it is unfair... you do the math based on my income and possible income from a home game and the salary floor docking, how many weeks do i need to have enough money to buy enough players to reach the salary floor.
I still think this whole thing wasn't thought of completely. New managers should be given at least couple of seasons to catch up.

With a home game, you'll be over in no time. No problem here.

There is a huge problem there. How can a new player be put into a top division? As much sense as the salary floor makes, in this case it needs a fix.

Thats just ignorant. You cant put a small fish into a tank full of sharks - new teams in higher divisions need to be stronger.

If you start in div I, you will get stronger faster, than if you start in div II. He just wants hyperdrive. This is a game of patience.

Agreed, and it would be unfair for a new team like me who can't have great players and he could at the very start.

Agreed. Like many have said this game is a marathon not a sprint. It will take time to develop the team you need to compete in the top level.

Obviously you can't compete right when you start but if you manage it properly, within a season or 2 you would have a very competitive team

Why would that be unfair?
