i just want to know how many weeks it will set me back to pop a player if i changed from advance trainer to a basic one.

if i train single slot PG with 3 trainees, i get pops every 1-2 weeks on advace trainer. if i changed that to basic, how many weeks will it take? 2-3?

Level 3 should be the apropiate for your division, because a level 4 would be too expensive for your incomes (TV and merchandising).
If your trainees are really young, you might try to nab a level 4, but the costs may be too much right now. Analyze your $$$ before making any sudden moves.

Level 5 or above give you a bit more speed.

Please get an advanced (4) trainer. They can cost 1-5k, available throughout the day. Make sure salary 11-15k, that's probably what I got for my team every time I change my Advanced Trainer (when I used to have one). Remember to fire/get new one when salary nearing 20k. Do not get trainer lower than that, please.

And difference between level 4 and 5 is significant over a long period, especially if you want to train a certain player for more than 4 seasons. Using a certain help program (Jozef-Ka's parrot) tells me that a training regime for one of my trainee can finish in 72 weeks with a level 5 trainer compared to 79 weeks on a level 4.

If this is accurate than superior trainers are much too expensive
and seemingly not worth the upgrade from level 4

Well if you are training a NT player for 6+ seasons, then any advatange you can gain is welcome.
For all other purposes Lvl4 is probably enough.

84=100%
104-84=x% ;x=20*100/84=23,8% trainer lvl 7 is better than lvl 1

But also take in mind that those values arent very accurate, the lowest levels of trainers are least investigated, and older age of players too, cause it was way less data than for young ones, so the error may be way greater.
