Based off of my game it was fine. I had a 2,3 & 5 play there & still pulled the same Defense I pull when I do the lineup myself & the offense was alot better on the Inside because of it.

While the blank lineup might give a better performance, it eliminates your control of minutes for training and gameshape purposes. That's enough of a negative to prohibit most teams from using it regularly.

I thought of that, but in the Playoffs or a Cup game on neutral court when your Game Shaping & going for the win, it would give you a big advantage over some who didn't know about it.

Does it actually give you a better lineup then you would have chosen yourself?

Having never tried the blank line-up, it might be interesting to see what happens. Of course, the great drawback with this is you obviously can't train players in chosen positions.

Exactly my point. I thought the idea was to win on our own merist, not just sign a bunch of expensive players & let the game makeup for the short fall on what we had done.

The game engine wont make up for you're short falls if you cant make up for it in other areas. It seems to me a blank lineup is best for making in game adjustments and keeping players fresh, but it can also be a disaster if you set the wrong tactics or have players with certain skill sets.

The fact of the matter is this is a manager game not a coach game. Some manager's are very hands on with their coach and others leave it to the "experts" and let the coach make all of the lineup and in-game decisions. It's all part of the strategy.

I would like it even more if this were a general manager game, but we could do more to hire coaches and assistants with certain styles. We should be able to hire a "push the ball" coach and assistants who are big man specialists who increase rebounding, for example.

At levels like B3, it's a money game =P
