Yeah it's gonna be an interesting and scary season. I got rid of my 90K leading scorer for a younger more well rounded trainable player. Trying to rebuild while still contending, will have to see how that works out for me in this tough division.

I'm writing that on a sticky note and putting it on my computer screen so I'm not tempted to buy any new players! Save me from myself!

I couldn't help myself! I've never seen a player with such great skills sell for so little. And his salary isn't so high, though I'll have to juggle my roster a little to properly afford him.

At least playing my team will be more fun than walking through a DIV team.

Yes, I sold a PF, Alberdo Angulo, last week.

Looks like a tough league. I've spent the last five seasons or so doing the yo-yo between D4 and D3... dominating D4 and then getting relegated from D3. Looks like this season might be more of the same.

THE FIRST POWER RANKINGS ARE IN!

POWER RANKGINGS
1. Cathar Heretics 20.197. The D2 demotee has taken full advantage of an easier opening schedule, winning by an average of 32.5 points per game.
2. Eclypze 14.880. Never afraid to spend a buck, Smedlock's squad may finally be coming together. Strong start against two solid teams.
3. Flash Mashers 12.738. Last season's #1 seed picks up right where he left off. Mansour is a beast.
4. Dong Energy 11.988. Following in the footsteps of last season's champ, the top D4 promotee looks strong. Still has some cash laying around I believe.
5. Jack Acid Society 5.597. Not the toughest opening schedule, but taking care of business.
6. Natellio 1.780. Looks to be firmly in the middle of the pack. Shocking.
7. Toronto Traptors 1.455. Decent start while getting some training time in as well. They'll be in the mix as always.
8. East Gary Eagles -0.087. Tough loss @ the Door Mats. Banking some good enthusiasm though.
9. Ron Swanson All Stars -3.412. The score against Dong energy may not be indicative of how good Swanson. He's always a little sporadic though.
10. The Door Mats -6.312. Already a better start than last year. We'll see if he can keep pace this season rather than playing catch up.
11. Marshland Mammals -8.162. Good rebound after an awful start. We'll see if he can afford that guy long term.
12. Extra Crispy -8.645. Not the best start but a brutal way to open the season vs. Flash Mashers and @ Eclypze.
13. Lengends -8.878. Not the start he was hoping for I would imagine. Not a good loss last night...
14. Lake Charles Creoles -9.820. The Runner-Up from Season 17, Lake Charles has fallen a bit.
15. Pimps In Training -10.062. D4 team needs to show something before things get out of hand from him...
16. 2 Left Feet -13.287. Struggling to score early on. Needs to find an offense that works.

I really wish my PG didn't get hurt in the first game, was forced to blow my safety net cash on a replacement. Tough week coming up and I couldn't afford to be down a starter.

I always seem to be lacking in the point differential area... Can't wait for my games against Dong and the Heretics though.

I'm furious after 3 straight losses, and a pretty confusing one last night, so I'll get right to these. Be prepared for me to do something stupid in the near future.
