If you want to train one of them then go with the 6'9" dude but if youre just planning on selling the player you get go for the 7'2" guy because he is A+ and people gomcrazy over 7'2"+ tall players. Of course that is just my opinion

The only dangerous thing being that 7'2" guys can often come out with straight atrocious in all the guard skills. But the 6'9" dude might easily be unlucky as well, and end up with a crappy skill distribution. A lot of luck is going to determine exactly what you'll get if you decide to sell him.

personally I kinda like the idea of home drafting a giant guy, just because they'd be easy to train up their inside skills, but the merch contribution from being a draftee would help offset some of their salary.

Exactly I think all both of them are high risk high reward type of players but the 7'2" dude i believe has a bigger reward. +1

So I'm bumping this thread to announce that I drafted the 7'2" guy, and he's pretty awesome IMHO:

(26043604)

Jump Shot: atrocious Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: mediocre
Driving: awful Passing: inept
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: average

$7127 salary.

Holy crap, that's awesome!!!

Nice player. Your biggest worry (after fouling tendency, can't remember if you mentioned that) will be training him so that you don't send his salary through the roof.

Which, all in all, is a very nice problem to have.

He's got a National Team Advertisement on his player page, so I'd kind of like to give him a shot at that if I can, although I'm not exactly sure what the best way to do that would be. I also got the 7'0" guy so I'll be training him as well.

I'd start with 1on1 for forwards, then some passing and finalize with inside training. Inside skills will train very very very fast. Definately a candidate for the U-21. Remember to play with potential calculators to find the skill set you want.

A few pops of OD as well and this could end up being a monster PF (though that may or may not mesh with U21 goals). But this is an awesome draftee in any event!

Don't judge the player by a national team advertisement, in most contries just about every 18 year old with modest skill and potential gets one of those.
