Good idea, but still ineffective. Teams can still buy 5 3k players, and just leave them in the roster. Another twist to it, we could make mandatory 3-5 national players dressed for the game. Again, bad players would get DNP anyway

Why do 'we' have an advantage? Because the TV Contract (and I think merchandise too) is considerably lower in our leagues? Or because the cup finishes earlier and we get less cash because of that?

Just tanking. It's possible to tank and bank vast amounts of money in micronations. You can simply hang around the salary floor and float in the league. While in large nations, there is always a bunch of new hungry teams breathing on your neck.

I'm in my second season, still incomplete arena, and already cashing in 250k weekly.

Venomous Scorpions and this year's San Felipe are classic examples.

how are we(the micronation teams) not at a disadvantage with that..i mean there are so few good players from our home country so we have to rely on the TL to make ourselves stronger.if you ask me to train then let me ask you that how can you train more than 2(or at most 3) players to compete at highest levels while the teams of so called powerhouses can go to the TL and buy local players then I would laugh at that.

Well, we are at a disadvantage with this. Then again, we have an advantage in quickly developing our teams, you have promoted to the first league, after your first full season. New teams in largest nations take calendar years to achieve that. also, we can tank money easily, which is key to winning B3, for example. See Venomous Scorpions and most likely San Felipe this year.

Also, I have left the number of players up for discussion. I suggested 5, that way, you would only need 2-3 national players to compete, even in B3, since teams usually use 7-8 players rotation. Maybe 6 or 7 would make it easier for the start?

Anyway, this is just a suggestion, we should try to evaluate the possible effects. I believe that they wouldn't be as harsh as it first may seem.

yea I understand that it took me only 1 season to make it to the top league, but i defeated 3 teams which were much older and stronger than me to make it to the IPBL.in general micronation teams have this advantage.
but then we also have to pay for that.i mean with my current roster I am losing close to 50k a week.the TV contract is low and consequently we cant have massive rosters.
one thing to curb the micronation problem could be to combine some micronations into one big nation(or whatever you want to call it) so that the total teams would be close to lets say 200+.(i think this was suggested by wolph)
sorry but the limit on the foreign players is something that I am not in favor of.

Great job!

Sorry it was just funny, back on topic, the biggest problem would be draft pool in micronations is very limited, so high potential playeres are scarce. I dont think this is the road to leveling the play at b3.

Great job!

I guess it was foolish of me to write that given the amount of competition you guys face...

yep that is one of the major problems..thought the others are more or less linked to it

It was just a silly pun, but you comment made me laugh. Better competition makes for a better game so I feel you guys get the short end of the stick, even if you get to play the hi end part of the game.

i guess you are right....i would love to be in a competitive country and play against teams more or less as good as mine in almost every league game..cuz in India, with my newly acquired roster, only a handful of teams are strong enough to compete against me..
I think thats enough off topic for now

I think I have a slightly better idea, just raise the Merchandise profit bonus.
Raise every bonus aspect by 20-40%, that'll definitely make managers get more native players to their squads, and also train more youth.
