Shouldn't be too hard though, you have a nice team. I'm still a season or two away from giving it a good shake!

I wanted to lose to the redbacks
I played Crunch Time against a bot in the cup to burn enthusiasm.
I played Take it Easy in the game.
I played at his arena.
I chose the wrong tactics on the GDP on purpose.
I played bad tactics myself.
I played my C at PG.
I played a $1k player as my SF a $2k PF a $2k SG & a $3k C.

I still won. It will be rough to tank this season.lol.

So earlier when our West Indian friend said he wouldn't be in this league next year, do we now assume he was aiming to go down and not up? I'm confused. On that issue, are there guidelines or rules on tanking in this game?

hi deano,

no guidelines, but I have only done that once prior to a finals game, always try to win...

Thanks Gaze,
It was more a question out of curiosity really. I'm neither for nor against it really, I think if your team is any good tanking in this game costs you anyway because it seems to (for me) make it harder to get the fans in for games when you are losing, which means less money, which makes it harder to pay salaries, etc.....
But if you've got a fat bank balance I guess there are some long term advantages to it, so good luck to anyone who is keen. Now I'm confused about tonight's game against the Windies. Am I going to get smashed or smash them? Because their team seems much better on paper than mine. This could be interesting....

Phew close game mon. Commander my C playing @ PG had a triple double & Kelly dropped 55 easy points. Lucky for me
Gavin Couperwhite & Horace Ward are out injured & I left out Garry Waterworth. Only had 2 of my best 5 in & still nearly blew it. Yes you guys worked out my secret. It had been hard. Tried to lose every game but still won 2. Why not just play 3 guys you say? I still am trying to have some fun, get individual player achievements & get my training done. Last season I had 5 NT players & it was very hard but much easier now with just the 2. XD

I'm still not sure I get it. You've been around for a fair few seasons now and only recently got relegated back from the ABBL. Surely a div three league like this one is the equiv - or worse - of us guys going back to a fourth rung league? Each to his own I guess.

Any tips for us rookies still trying to climb into the second division?
