Like hrudey said this is something common and not a bug. For example, in my conference there are teams with 2 rivals and some other with none.

There is nothing to be done :(

Well thanks... Thus when something is unfair and create a real imbalance in a league, doing nothing and letting it go is the best option for you? With that kind of thinking, we are not going forward, we are going backwards!

Of course it is not the first time this inequitable situation happens in a league, but here more pronounced than usual. That is why I put the word "bug" between quotation marks at the start of the topic... Everybody recognizes that it is unfair... But it is better to do nothing to change it? Well let's bury our heads in the sand like an ostrich! -_-

Sure. I agree with hrudey, it's not a bug. Also, the rivalries are not randomly chosen, and that's why some leagues have their rivalries more "grouped".

Interesting, can you give us some insight or it's one of those secret things of the game? :)

You have been answered by EGM-Perpete but it seems like you don't like the arguments presented. This is OK, we cannot all have the same opinions, but please refrain from repeating yourself.
Also, not everyone agrees that it's unfair, as it's based on a real life situation.

@LA-Biffo: Nice try

I don't disclose secrets (this has been on forums in the past) by saying that past confrontations and the closeness of those are an important part on how rivals are chosen.

Thank you, didn't know that :P

It is indeed all about the past games (where there are some). If you stay in a league for a long time (as does your rival), your rival is very unlikely to change over the years. Unless you develop a bigger rival! That's what rivalry is all about anyway, and IMO how it should generally be implemented in this game.
