It does happen in real life but only once every other game, not on every other possession!!

Soooooooo i had a look at this.

in real life, it does happen in a contest. more than once a game.

HOWEVER, in my last league game, it happened 9 times in total.

it does seem a LITTLE bit high? but if it happened like, 5 times, that would be normal for me.

Do box scores not include "team rebounds"? That is what rebounds lost out of bounds and awarded to one team or the other are.

I wonder what's BB's algorithm for this event.. after a defensive rebound there's 50%(?) chance of a player fumbling it out of bounds?
I watch about 200 full games an NBA season. I tried to pay attention to this particular event happening in real games, and that's a conclusion I came up with.
I don't need to prove anything to imbeciles, cause I'm sure BB creators are not!
