The first third of the season is finished, all teams have played against their conference competitors and here is what we can say about the first 7 games.
Big 8
As always kwaiwah is leading the way with only one loss against the other legendary team of the conference Nick Of Time. For them, the season is more complicated because despite the prestigious win, they lost 3 games. Regarding their roster, it's still a great performance and their manager shows that he is only getting better. Speaking of good manager, Kelana Jaya Knights is alone at the second spot with 5 wins, losing only the first game of the season @ GinaKia and the last game @ kwaiwah. What a great season so far for the promoted team! The 4th team is GinaKia who changed their team profile by adding the NT center Steve Gabriel. The injury of their starting PG will make the 2/3 next weeks quite difficult. With 3 wins, there are the RedDevilz Basketball Club and the other promoted team ElectroLockz, both are not far from becoming a playoffs team. Red East Devils seems to have more troubles than last season with only 2 wins and they have to very careful because the only team behind them is Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters was unfortunate enough to have their NT player Jackson Victor injured for weeks, he will be back soon and there is no doubt that they will become a more competitive team by then.

It may be the tragedy of the season: Telok Air Tawar Fusion went bankrupt and lost (almost) all their players, being last with only one win, it won't be easy to stay in MBBA. Chronic Cynics is back in MBBA but lost their only Cup game of the season, will it be an advantage to improve their 2-5 record? The other team with a similar record is PeeJay Reds and they still are playing the Cup. The second promoted team is Double Lee and they are doing quite well so far with 3 wins, the best thing might be the performances of the U21 player Bob Nanuwil who scores 14pts per game! Ampang Stuporsonics is the only top4 team which wasn't in the top4 at the end of the past season. With 4-3, they have the same record than Damientor. come OWN me has finished in the top3 each season since season 27, with only 2 losses, it looks like they are on the way to do the same this season. Finally, the only undefeated team MyBBTeam has recently hired the top NT PG Ahmad Badawi bin Saad but had to sell 3 players to afford his salary. Will they manage to keep the pace with this new look roster?
