Just to be clear because you replied to me, Perpete's input in past changes or lack thereof, is irrelevant in my post.
I wouldn't change a comma, even if i knew for a fact that every single change that i disagree with, happened to be his idea.
It has nothing to do with what i meant and especially in how i judge one's work ethic, integrity and voluntary service.

p.s btw, especially with Perpete i had my fair share of disagreements...

Let's hope it works out best for BB.

Of course mate, we may come from different angles discussing about BB but we all share the same love for the game!

I'm 100% positive that inflation was mostly if not entirely caused by Marin (and the implementation of Utopia). You just need to check the threads where he tried to justify removing Free Agency when we had already hit 20-22k users. Then he claimed that it was to incentivise training and that young players were going to be saved...yeah, U21 players in large nations (Italy) retired before the manager could save them and he still claimed he was right to shut FA and his claims were all entirely accurate.

We told them he should manage inflation by regulating free agency criteria according to the needs of the economy (or increase training speed), but instead he's a guy for all or nothing: 12 seasons later we have seen 40 year old free agents with 60 TSP on the market...

I have to give it to Perpete that he doesn't usually have preconceived ideological positions, but at least he's able to argue his position logically (and yes I'm implying that others can't or didn't). Then we can disagree, but that's to be expected in a discussion.

everyone can attack Marin but when someone says something bad about Perpete everyone comes to defend.

lol, sure if that's the way you want to interpret it, next thing you know me, Wolph and Mike Franks have been best buddies with Perpete for 15 seasons. Come on.

I think you can disagree with Perpete (we all have had our share of disagreements with him) and he is clearly not the most likeable person on the forums, but you cannot deny that, no matter how curt or unpleasantly, he's always explained where he was coming from when discussing something. All I was saying is that between Marin and Perpete, I take Perpete because I think he is the more reasonable person and one that actually listens to what is being said, rather than going ballistic.

If Joemaverick is correct, and he may well be, I think they should have 2 BBs in the future. One to design the general direction of the game and interact wit hthe community and the other to implement/oversee the changes. Obviously they will have to work together to make sure that the priorities can be delivered. I would also leverage the IT help that users can give for non-GE related areas (like the wesbite look and functionality for example...) rewarded with supporter packages and whatnot.

Imagine if you are an IT professional (or student) who designs websites as a job and you have to log in into this old and worn out looking site every time. It must hurt so much you'd definitely do it for a supporter.
