Spain NT was too strong for Japan! We did our best but it was not enough.
With a win over Slovenija, Malaysia won HCA advantage for next Asian Championship.

During this consolation tournament we only lost against Germany, Serbia and Spain, 3 of the best teams in the world, it's not a bad result but it's a little disappointing to to fail so close to the goal for the second time. On the other hand, this allows us to really situate the team in the global hierarchy and measure the work that remains to be done.

It was a great result. It is near impossible to compite against a top NT like Spain o Germany. Well done Fulek.

How do you see the team for next season? Has it improved? Matsuyama is getting older and I am not sure about our future possibilities

Thank you for your encourages

it's a bit difficult to determine how the team will be next season cause at first, it depends of NT Manager, concerning me, I am ready to continue and I will run for a new term, but the choice of the coach remains the responsibility of the community.

In my opinion, I don't think there will be many changes due to the low pool of players with the necessary level to play at NT level, obviously some players are near NT retirement and could drop from the roster and some additions from younger players could be made.

Matsuyama remains one of the best and important players at the moment and I think he have a couple more seasons in the team but it may be different in a few weeks.

For several seasons, the team had a certain dependence on Matsuyama, which will be less true in the coming seasons because there has been a real progression of several other players. Congratulations to the managers for this.

The coming seasons will not be easy, but the work done with young players will be beneficial in the medium term. We must continue.

Come on Japan
