It is seasons ago having really big issues during the off-season with server downs etc., so listing a player for 1 Bb$ is a high-roller and very risky.

I would kindly disagree. I do not keep a player that has a fouling problem.

At the same time, playing him before selling makes you risk that IF he's foul prone, buyers will know it. This downside is possibly much larger than the downside of buyers not buying because there is no info.

And as said, combined with the option for the buyer to play the player in their preferred position and also being early to list are more reasons to list early instead of after the scrimmage.

I am thinking of another option as well.

What if instead of immediately selling him, just give him proper training for 1 maybe 2 seasons to sell him for much much more? If I am correct draftees (guards) usually gets 1vs1 first so there are lot youngsters on tl trained this way. What if I would train his OD first (will be lvl 9 at start)? As its less profitable at first to train, potential buyer
could pair easily pair him up with his draftees (training 1 vs 1 I assume), so he would pay much much more for such player? Lets say he would be sold for 1 mil immediately after draft. Maybe such way could up his worth to 2 mil (or even more) after just season or 2 of training? Or maybe simple 1 vs 1 forwards would bring similar results?

What are your thoughts on this? Could it work out? I only care about money to upgrade arena at this point.

My setup would be: no gym, coach lvl 4, maybe youth coach lvl 4 with another 2 youngsters to make better use of him.

Is youth coach worth it tho?

It's far from certain that you will get more money this way, especially if you account for the trainer expenses. You will lose potential buyers that want 3 18yo's at the same time, or those that have other training needs.

Youth trainer is worth it if you get one with low enough salary.
