not exactly...
there is 9 and 9...
It is probable that a 9 with high wage decrease after a 9 with low wage...

Unless, the level 9 with higher wage was originally a level 10, but he dropped a skill level, which would make more sense.

I make on other thought
take a new generated level.he has a level x with 10/10
every week his decimals go down
next week he 'll have 8/10 for example
and so on
The previous trainer was level 9 by two or three week,so his decimals could be lower than a new generated coach of the same level, with the maximum decimals

skill level 9 = skill level 9. They are all integers, there is no 9.3 who is better than 9.1, they are all equal.

and dropping is random?
skill level 9 is integer about training, but about level duration?

random indeed, but all of the same trainers drop at the same time.

So when 50 managers hired a lvl 9, named John Doe, and he drops after 10 weeks, then he drops at every single team.

Then I'll take John Doe please... so far whichever top end trainer I touch drops within a lot less than the originally quoted approx season to lose a level... (dont ask me to wade thru endless threads for this quote) we all read it.. and yet somehow there were coaches losing 2 sub levels in 4 weeks (or was it 3..)

Oh and dont tell me if id kept hold of him he couldve spent 5 seasons being skill level 4 just so that the incredible early drops are somehow justified!
