Not quite...I calculate the 3rd PO final will fall on the 21st Feb and then there are a few days before season 8 kicks in.

After you've played 14 league games thats 50% of a season - we've played 16 so thats a fraction over 50%

The BB "fall asleep" this season.. I hope that it because a good reason and that they work on something new for the game and because of that this falling asleep ;)

And don't worry be sure that there will be some changes next season.. apparently with the economy.. hopefully for some glimmers of the back situation with the normal revenue from the cup (and keep on the prizes as bonus) and from the league games and more..

I see good changes in the horizon (they all were good till now in my opnion at least.. so I'm trust the BB) .

Playoffs to my understanding are 2 weeks with 1 week of offseason.

A Buzzerbeater calendar is 14 weeks.....11 normal (2 games a week for 11 weeks = 22) and 3 weeks for playoffs/drafts... so with 16 games played I would say we are 8weeks in....
