I have also noticed that the type of shot missed by your opponent influences rebounds as well. If an opposing team plays Run N Gun, my SF is usually my best rebounder, and my weak rebounding guards will pull in a few as well. Far misses seem to generate more rebounds for my outside players. Conversely if the other team is playing LI, my C and PF rack up big #'s. Also if I play 1-3-1, my C is going to do all the work on the boards.
