Alex - I think you have a misunderstanding about training minutes. A player doesn't have to play ALL his 48 minutes in a game, but he has to play 48 minutes in a week (3 games) to get full training.

Yeah I get that they need 48 minutes over all the games of the week (normally 3 games), but I have a situation where I have one game left in the week and am trying to get 20 min from two players at the same position. I have 3 guys I am squeezing into 2 position. One guy has zero min this week, so I am playing him all 48 at center. Now I am trying to get two other players who have 28 min each at PF/C to 48 for the week and only the PF slot to get it to them. Guess I am trying to train too many players lol.

hmm, it's a tough one. There are a few things you could try but it may be a bit of a reach. You could try and use a fast tactic, so the starter gets tired earlier, and may only play 30 mins. You could even try and put the guy who has the highest PF/game as starter and tell your coach to 'sit them' hoping he will get enough fouls to keep his minutes down.

Bear in mind though that this may have -ve effect on the guy you are trying to give 48 mins. make sure that he is set as the back up and resrve and you pick 'strictly follow depth chart'. Also dont have anyone in your team (dressed for the game) that you dont want to play.
